Fresh new beginning!

Hey, hey!

I kind of decided to come back here and write more about books. Being honest, I have blog for books, but in my mother language, so practice is real when I try to write more in English! And I decided that I can do this here again, but with new concept.

I plan to post not only description of the books, but more book reviews, some recommendation post and so on. I hope that this will work better than before. Will see!

So, see you soon again! ^^

April Wrap up

april

And so, April is gone and I’m here to write what I was able to read this month. It was a long month, in which I had a certain goal to read “The Infernal Devices” trilogy. Also I managed to read some other books, which I had a deadline for (must return them to the library). Anyhow, here comes my list for April.

~~~
clockwork angel and princeClockwork Angel
After I bought “Lady Midnight” something was telling me that I have to read “The Infernal Devices” first, so I got it digital and started reading. It was an awesome first book and the first book that made me read so fast on a tablet.
Clockwork Prince
The second book from the trilogy. It was awesome as well and I really fell in love with Jem. That’s all I can manage to write now, but you can read more in my review of the book.
On The Bridge
This is a short story about Will and Jem, the night when everything started. It’s placed right before the story begins in Clockwork Angel. It was interesting.
branded and every day
Branded
This is the first book from the series “Fall of Angels”, and as I wrote in my review very difficult book, which I read too slowly. Anyhow, I’m glad that I was able to finish it, but I’m not really sure if I’m going to follow the series and to read the other books.
Every Day
It’s the first book from David Levithan that I read. I was tempted by the overview, so I took it from the library. It took me 6 days to read it and I’m still not sure why I did it. it was strange for me. I’ll probably write a review about it some days later.
the one and cinder The One
The third book from “The Selection” series. I obviously didn’t gave up on the series. I took the book from the library as well as the previous books. Read my review about it to know more about what I think.
Cinder
I was reading about this book so much, so when I saw it on the shelf in the library, I grabbed it and decided to give it a chance. And I wasn’t disappointed – it was awesome. Will write more about it soon.
~~~

All in all, 6 books and a short story. It’s a good count, considering the fact that I’m always at work. Not sure how many books I’ll manage to read in May, but one is for sure – “Lady Midnight” by Cassandra Clare will be on the list.

Read in March

March officially has ended, so I’m here to write my monthly read books. This month I was able to read only 5 books, but you know… sometimes you must go to work, mostly 5 days in a week. xD

I’m glad I finished Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead. It surely is one of my favorite series so far. ^^

***

bloodlines 4-6

As I wrote, I finished reading the Bloodline series. I’m in love. This is my second favorite series after Vampire Academy and Richelle Mead is officially my most favorite author. This woman is a genious. I’ll soon post all the books from both series and will write my 5-stars reviews for them. I promise! ^^

Lover RevealedI also managed to finish “Lover Revealed” by J.R. Ward. I love Black Dagger Brotherhood series and I know I read the books slowly, but I take them from the city library. I hope one day I’ll be able to buy them all, but currently I can’t.

“Lover revealed” was full of surprises and twists I didn’t expected, but it’s really breath-taking book. And the scenes between Butch and Marissa – oh my… xD

I finished it for 8 days – I know it’s long, but workdays are more than the free days unfortunately.

Forever Too Far“Forever Too Far” is the 3rd book from Rosemary Beach series. As I’m a fan of Abbi Glines, I managed to buy her books. I finished it for a few hours – it was just too interesting.

I really hope that Bulgarian published will continue releasing the books from this series or at least the 4th book as well.

I’m going to write reviews for this one book and the book before it as I skipped it due to site’s maintenance. With both books my list with books awaiting reviews is really big. I think it will took me a some more time to write all reviews, which are the average number of 30 ~ 40…

With this said, I can start organize the books for April. I already finished one and I’m reading 2 books at the moment. One of them is very boring, but I’ll do my best to read it.

February reads!

February is almost over. As I’m not really publishing these months, I decided to create this monthly article for writing what I read recently. And I hope that this is going to become weekly article instead of monthly.

So let’s see what my Goodreads shows!

Formorly in disgrace, Sydney is now praised for her loyalty and obedience, and held up as the model of an exemplary Alchemist.

But the closer she grows to Jill, Eddie, and especially Adrian, the more she finds herself questioning her age-old Alchemist beliefs, her idea of family, and her sense of what it means to truly belong. Her world becomes even more complicated when magical experiments show Sydney may hold the key to prevent becoming Strigoi – the fiercest vampires, the ones who don’t die. But it’s her fear of being just that – special, magical, powerful – that scares her more than anything. Equally daunting is her new romance with Braydon, a cute, brainy guy who seems to be her match in every way. Yet, as perfect as he seems, Sydney finds herself being drawn to someone else – someone forbidden to her.

When a shocking secret threatens to tear the vampire world apart, Sydney’s loyalties are suddenly tested more than ever before. She wonders how she’s supposed to strike a balance between the principles and dogmas she’s been taught, and what her instincts are now telling her.

The Book Courtship Book Tag

Okay, this is the first post in here, in which there isn’t an exact book or an author that I write about. But yesterday was the first time that somebody tagged the blog and I thought why not doing it, so here I am.

It’s “The Book Courtship Book Tag” and I was tagged by Travelling In My Bookcase Blog. The Book Courtship Tag which was originally created by LovelyLikeLaura.

Phase 1 – Initial Attraction: A book that you bought because of the cover?

Fallen Too FarThis is definitely “Fallen Too Far” by Abbi Glines. I just fell in love when I saw the cover. And since I know that Abbi Glines is a good writer I just bought the book. Instantly. Check the Bulgarian cover that actually got me in here.

Phase 2 – First Impressions: A book that you got because of the summary?

A Discovery of WitchesI first saw the book in the local library, and when I read what’s it all about I just decided that it’s my book. And the big love has just began.

Phase 3 – Sweet Talk: A book with great writing?

The Lord of the RingsAll 3 books are amazingly writen in Tolkien’s style. I love this man and the world he had created. I’ve been lost there so many times.

Phase 4 – First Date: A first book of a series which made you want to pick up the rest of the series?

TwilightI’ve seen and heard so many people to talk bad about this book series, but I don’t really care. I just like it. The book wasn’t released in Bulgaria, so my first meeting with it was a fan translation, but a really good one. Being honest I read all the books online. After that Egmont Bulgaria bought the rights and now I have them all in my house.

Phase 5 – Late Night Phone Calls: A book that kept you up all night?

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceOne of my cousins has bought the book before me and I was so envious. I asked him to give it to me, so I can read it and he was good and gave it the same day. I started to read at 7pm and I finished at 5am. I didn’t even bother myself to sleep. It was good that I was in a summer holidays.

Phase 6 – Always on my mind: A book you could not stop thinking about?

This is it. This is a special book and beginning of a special series.

Phase 7 – Getting Physical: A book which you love the way it feels?

Fortune is a WomanThis is a book, that I just love. It’s writing, the way it makes me feel, the passion and the message it leaves! Deserves reading!

Phase 8 – Meeting the parents: A book which you would recommend to your family and friends?

“Shogun” by James Clavell is the book, that I can highly recommend. True and interesting, it is such kind of book, which can make you think about lots of things.

Phase 9 – Thinking about the future: A book or series you know you will re read many times in the future?

“Vampire Academy” series, 100%. It may not be many people’s favorite, but I read this book in a very hard moment of my life and it kept me safe, not thinking about bad things, but only about the plot and what is going to happen next. Definitely will re read the whole series many times.

Phase 10 – Share the love: Who do you tag?
